Each habituation group is limited to a maximum of four participants per day, ensuring a personalized and intimate encounter. Guests are accompanied by a professional team of trackers and rangers who lead the trek through the forest. Once the gorilla family is located, visitors are allowed to spend up to four hours observing and interacting with the gorillas — making this experience ideal for wildlife lovers and photography safaris.
During the visit, ranger guides provide detailed explanations about each gorilla family member, their characters and hierarchy, their behaviors, and communication methods. Guests are also taught how to safely mimic and vocalize gorilla sounds, creating a deeper and more educational experience.
Due to the limited number of permits issued daily, this activity must be booked well in advance.
